Aaron Draplin. If you haven’t heard of him, stop reading this and go watch one of his Ted Talk videos.
He’s a Midwest fella who’s so obsessed with design and typefaces that just by hearing him talk about it, we started to obsess about it, too. He’s got that kind of contagious energy. We love it.
We also love his brand, Field Notes. It’s inspired by pocket material of the American Farmer. Literally field notes.
Today, their popularity spans way beyond the heartland. We use them in the office, at home, while we’re traveling, while we’re out for a walk, camping, hiking, biking, and a bunch of other -ings.
We treat our Field notebooks like ChapStick. One for the car. One for the bag. One for the pocket. Etc. Etc. The only difference is that we don’t lose our Field notebooks before using them up.
