What if lighting a bonfire was as easy as lighting a candle? The City Bonfire and Lighter make it possible. The Bonfire is in a candle-like tin that makes it easy to throw in your beach or hike bag. We also use ours for a simple s'mores setup on the back patio. Made from non-toxic recycled soy wax, the Bonfire doesn't have a smoky scent or embers flying everywhere.

Safety Info

Place your City Bonfire in a safe location. Preferably a fire pit or somewhere safe from people, pets and structures. The tin must not be moved or touched while burning or before completely cool. Tin gets VERY hot and should be placed on a safe non-burnable surface. Wax inside tin gets VERY hot. Do not throw items in the fire as splashing of hot wax can occur. DO NOT EXPOSE TO WATER. Store with lid on to keep water and other contaminants out.

  • Remember to check surroundings to ensure its safe to light the campfire.
  • Use a lighter to light the paper pulp.
  • When you're ready to extinguish the fire, DO NOT USE WATER! Just slide the lid over the top of the can to snuff out the flame.
  • Let can cool before touching or moving.
  • Discontinue use when only 1 inch of wax remains.
